How To Earn Passive Income From TON Ecosystem: NFTs, Memecoins, Etc.

by | Aug 23, 2024 | News | 2 comments

The TON ecosystem is currently leading in onboarding new users to Web3, especially with the advent of Telegram games.

Let’s delve into the four ways you can generate a sustainable income from the TON ecosystem.

There are more ways, but I will focus on four today.

Jude Umeano recently hosted a Twitter Spaces with Billionaire Prince, a respected figure in the field.

He shared extensive knowledge on how to make money from the TON ecosystem and answered all questions, providing valuable insights.

I highly recommend listening to that spaces.

Now, let’s get to today’s business.

For Starters, What is TON?

TON stands for The Open Network.

You’ll notice it has a strong affiliation with Telegram.

This is because when the project started in 2017, it was called Telegram Open Network, and its token was meant to be called GRAM.

This changed in 2020 because of the SEC.

The government is usually threatened when a large social media platform wants to own a currency.

The same thing happened when Facebook wanted to develop its currency; the government outrightly stopped it.

Anyways, Telegram and TON officially became two separate entities in 2020.

Thus, we have TON, The Open Network, and TON as the token.

If you have a Telegram account, you can generate a TON wallet.

You can also download TON Keeper as a standalone wallet.

So, how do you make money from this ecosystem?

Follow me to the next section to read about that.

How To Earn Passive Income From TON Ecosystem

These include:

1. Get a Job in the Ecosystem

TON

This is the most sustainable way to make a living from TON.

It’s both challenging and rewarding, offering ample opportunities for growth and learning.

It’s challenging because you might need to apply to several projects before getting picked.

However, the tasks are straightforward and manageable, requiring consistency and dedication.

Two places I suggest starting your job search are X (formerly Twitter) and Tonstarter.

On X (formerly Twitter)

Go to X and start your search with the hashtag #TON.

Look for projects on TON, especially the new ones.

Find those gaining momentum, verify their legitimacy, and determine the service you can offer them:

  • social media management
  • administration
  • graphic design
  • programming, etc.

Many projects are looking for workers, but they want people who are actually good at the job.

So don’t just ask for a job—stand out by ensuring it’s a project you like.

Understand the project, read their white paper, and start providing value by doing the following:

  • Attend their Twitter Spaces and ask insightful questions
  • Contribute to discussions
  • Answer questions on their Telegram or Discord channels.

This way, the team will notice you and might make you an offer.

Or, when you eventually ask for a job, they’re more likely to say yes.

You could even offer to join the team and work for free initially.

This will give you experience, networking opportunities, and recommendations that can lead to more significant projects with higher pay.

Some people even become advisors to multiple projects after gaining this experience.

It also gives you a wealth of experience and ideas to eventually start your own project.

Like I said, it’s not easy, but it’s simple and pays off big time.

On Tonstarter

Tonstarter is a launchpad for projects in the TON ecosystem.

You can spot projects here and do the same as I mentioned above.

2. NFTs

The TON ecosystem

Billionaire Prince explained this extensively in the Twitter Space.

You can mint NFTs from new projects on TON.

Some of them are free, while others require a minting fee.

When these projects gain adoption, the free NFTs you minted could be worth a lot.

But before connecting your wallet to any project, ensure it’s not a scam.

3. Memecoins

The TON ecosystem

Imagine discovering the next WIF or Popcat of the TON ecosystem.

Memecoins are a fundamental part of the crypto culture.

Every ecosystem has its winning memecoin.

So keep an eye on the TON ecosystem and see which memecoin is growing consistently in users, community, and reputation—that might be the winning meme.

Besides this, you can make good money trading meme coins.

4. Telegram Tap Bots

I’ have written multiple posts about these:

Notcoin debuted this earning method, and people cashed out a lot from it.

After Notcoin, we now have many tapping projects coming up and are building their communities.

We don’t know yet which project will be the next Notcoin, so we will keep tapping and waiting for their launch.

There you have ways to make passive income from the TON ecosystem.

But I understand that some people are crypto trading maximalists.

these lot are less bothered about other happenings in crypto except there’s a coin to trade.

If this is you, here are legit platforms to work with:

Final Words

The crypto space is one innovative field that is filled with countless earning opportunities.

It’s the TON ecosystem today; tomorrow, we might be here talking about another project.

My advice: Make the most out of every opportunity that presents itself.

And while at it, beware of scammers. Be wise as a serpent out there.

Now, let me hear from you:

Have you cashed out from the TON ecosystem?

If you’ve gotten a job in Web3 using any of the listed methods, share your experience in the comment section.

If you have yet to implement the methods, share your results when you apply them.

I will be glad to read all about your experiences in the comment section.

Feel free to share other passive income opportunities in the TON ecosystem that you know.

One last thing: do well to share this post. You might be a helping hand to someone who is in dire need of this opportunity.

Till my next post, hodl still… Crypto ain’t going anywhere just yet!
