AltraBots: Is It Legit Or Scam?

by | Apr 15, 2023 | Investments, Ponzi/MLM | 19 comments

Year in and year out, there is never a time that passes without the emergence of yet another trending dodgy investment site.

The name of such a website under today’s review is Altrabots.com. You have heard about it, right? Interesting!

Altrabots.com is a website that claims it provides an automated arbitrage trading bot that generates up to 5% daily profit on trades.

Funny enough, investors who seem unfazed have started to flock to this website at the prospect of a high return.

This is evident from the fact that its Telegram group already has over 20,000 members. Smh!

I am concerned because some things do not just click about Altrabots, and you will get to find out for yourself in this post. Let’s dive in!

Post Summary

What Is Altrabots?

For those unfamiliar, Altrabots is a website that claims to offer arbitrage trading bots for cryptocurrency, stocks, and forex.

The AGT Project, a purported global trading company with professional arbitrageurs and analysts in the cryptocurrency market, developed it.

AGT also claims to have developed automated, realistic, and efficient robots over the course of 4 years (since 2018) with a 99% win rate.

Interesting! This kinda makes me wonder why no one knew about the company, despite its achievements, until the launch of Altrabots.

That seems questionable, right?

Another thing about Altrabots is that it boasts of offering up to 5% daily returns on investments and incorporates the ability to compound interest.

But that’s not all; it also claims that its high-frequency trading bots have a success rate of 80%. Interesting!

However, what it doesn’t make clear is how those interest and success rates are achieved, as you will see below.

How Does The Platform Work?

As you might have imagined, Altrabots works in a similar manner to other get-rich-quick schemes that we have covered in this section of the blog.

To begin with, the platform offers 3 investment plans that vary in risk and potential return: Have a peek!

Altrabots

Altrabots Investment Plans

  • ALTRA V2.1

This is the first investment plan and has the lowest minimum investment capital.

Prospective investors can subscribe to it for as little as $10.

The plan offers a daily return of 1–2.3%, and both capital and profit can be withdrawn 24 hours after the time of deposit.

  • ALTRA V4.0

The second investment plan has a minimum investment requirement of $20.

The expected daily return is 2.3%–3.2%. However, withdrawals can only be made 15 days after the deposit is made.

  • ALTRA V7.0

The third plan, so to speak, has the highest risk and returns.

It offers a range of 4.1%–5% daily returns, which investors can earn with a minimum investment capital of $50.

Furthermore, investors must lock in their funds until after 60 days of deposit before they can make withdrawals.

That’s roughly two months or so. Whoops!

How To Invest In Altrabots

To invest in Altrabot, prospective investors must first sign up for an account.

Following that, they proceed to subscribe to any of the above-mentioned plans that interest them by making the necessary deposit.

Once the deposit is made, the platform’s trading bots will begin to generate returns on their investment by making trades on their behalf.

Investors would then only need to monitor and track their investment performance through their dashboard.

And that’s it!

The thing is, Altrabot seems like a perfect investment offer, especially for anyone seeking financial freedom.

However, it has got me a bit worried. The reason is that I am yet to find out how exactly the platform intends to generate those enticing returns.

I mean, those returns, they aren’t plucked from trees, you get?🧐

Besides this, I have further reservations about this platform, which I will share with you below.

So, before I spill the tea, you may want to scroll down to read it.

Is Altrabots Legit Or Scam?

Well, Altrabots cannot be explicitly labelled a scam because it has not directly scammed anyone.

However, these are some red flags that I found about this platform and deem thoughtful enough to share with you:

i. Founder

Altrabots has no known founder.

As you are aware, it is always a red flag when an investment platform has no known founder.

The reason is that there is no way we can determine the competence of the individuals spearheading the scheme.

In addition, questionable founders often prefer to remain anonymous to avoid being persecuted when things go south.

In my opinion, investment schemes that are legit ought to have known founders as an indicator that they have trust in the scheme.

So, since Altrabots doesn’t check this box, I wouldn’t really beat my chest to say it is safe.

ii. Patchy company details

Altrabots claims that its parent company, AGT Project, possesses 4 years of experience in developing efficient trading bots with a 99% win rate. Interesting!

My concern, however, is that it did not provide any evidence to back this claim; the team’s profiles were not attached and real proof of the bots’ trading tests was not provided.

In addition, despite being a global company, AGP Project does not have an online presence and information about its physical location wasn’t even mentioned.

Digging further, the information on Whois reveals that Altrabot.com was registered on February 16, 2023. Take a peek!

From where I stand, I will assume that Altrabots and AGT Project, only started operating in 2023, since that was the company’s first online presence.

Also, the regulatory certifications provided are blurry and are nothing to make out of.

If my assumptions are correct, it would imply that investors were fed lies about AGT Project. Of course, this is just my opinion! LOL.

iii. Vague trading narrative

Altrabots says it generates profits for investors through arbitrage trading bots.

However, the information about how the profit is actually generated isn’t clear.

We don’t have information such as the exchanges being used for arbitrage by the bots, the trades made, PnL, and other relevant details.

In other words, there are no means of verifying whether the team truly uses investors’ money for trading.

Furthermore, upon clicking the “Chart” menu on the platform in hopes of viewing trading activities, I was disappointed to find blurry screenshots of these tables below.

I mean, is this some sort of joke or what? The image looks deceptive.

Again, the platform initially claimed its bots traded on multiple markets, which included crypto, forex, and stocks.

However, it seems to have changed the narrative to cryptocurrency arbitrage alone. Complicated, huh?

iv. Questionable returns

I don’t buy the company’s claim of generating consistent returns through crypto arbitrage.

The reason is that the crypto market has become more sophisticated, so it’s harder to find crypto arbitrage opportunities as often.

Again, the cryptocurrency market is so volatile, so it makes me wonder how these bots will continue generating daily profits without stalling.

v. Long withdrawal time

Withdrawals on Altrabots take up to an hour.

I learned about this while scrolling through the comments on its official Telegram group.

Altrabots

This doesn’t seem right to me because the platform’s supported currency is USDT, and blockchain withdrawals are supposed to happen instantly.

Since that is not obtainable on Altrabots, it makes me doubtful about the platform’s credibility.

That said:

If you’re looking for a reputable and legitimate platform to generate consistent income from cryptocurrency without fear of someone running away with your money, you can do so using this platform below.

Earn Consistent Yield From Crypto

Legitimate and reputable platforms to generate consistent income from crypto abound.

For example, Gate.io offers various financial products that earn consistent and genuine passive income streams for users.

One of its product offerings is “Auto Invest.”

The bot is programmed to use a USDT-cost averaging strategy to buy crypto at various intervals.

This not only helps an investor profit from the coin’s peak price but also minimises losses.

In addition, you can also earn substantial APR by investing in Gate.io’s HODL & Earn.

Conclusion

While Altabot may seem like a legitimate investment scheme, I found lots of red flags that would make me wary of it.

I don’t understand how returns are being generated, except if it is a Ponzi scheme, well, I will leave you to be the judge.

Me and everyone else got fooled by altrabots. It lasted just under 60 days. The fraudsters behind the site have tricked themselves into very large sums and put down altrabots. Does anyone know how to make a report. There are pictures and other things of the person who claimed to be the CEO and has held video meetings.

I have no idea if AGT is legit or fake but I do know for sure that some review writers in Bitcoin Community usually write gibberish; all based on their opinions—completely born of their shallow knowledge of the crypto space.

In 2022, a writer here clearly termed COREDAO’s CORE a scam project. Her major reason was that the founder(s) of the project are unknown.

But, when I wrote the manager (or head writer…I can’t recall the portfolio) asking if the founder of Bitcoin is known till date, I didn’t get a response.

Try and be holistic when reviewing projects and always endeavor to talk down on some projects, at least, using reasonable red flags.

I know you won’t publish this comment. But it’s fine.

      Hello Felix,

Firstly, I will say ‘Thank you’ for keeping up with every scam review on the blog.
I mean even with the gibberish being written, you still turn up to read.

For all the posts written, we work with facts and we also point out reasons for every of our assertions.

If that is not holistic enough, the reasonable thing to do would have been to counter the assertions with enough PROOF.

And maybe rather than cussing out, you can educate the ‘shallow-knowledged’ with your wealth of crypto knowledge.
